Benefits of Affiliation
Affiliation brings a number of benefits to societies. As well as receiving copies of our newsletter they are able to vote at the Trust’s Annual General Meeting and up to two members are entitled to attend Civic Trust events at the reduced rate for members (they do not have to be ‘named’ and can be different members at each event).
We also hold two meetings a year with affiliated societies, providing an opportunity to meet other groups, to be fully informed on developments in the city and to contribute to discussions on key issues of concern.
Finally we welcome contributions to our newsletter from affiliated organisations. The newsletter goes not only to members but also to leading Councillors and officers, so providing a good platform for debate.
