Books still available in the 'Walkabout' Series
Over the years, Leeds Civic Trust has produced a number of guided walks in its Walkabout Series, produced in association with Leeds City Council. Of the original six booklets in the series, three are still in print and there are plans for a revised edition to replace the now out-of-print Waterfront East and Waterfront West booklets.
The booklets describe walks round the city centre which take under 2 hours. An ideal way to learn more about new and old Leeds with an illustrated guide which fits into the pocket. Each book describes about 20 to 30 illustrated features which you will pass and has an easy to follow detailed map of the area it covers.
